Bipolar – Get Support

Bipolar disorder is an enduring, severe mental illness characterised by significant mood swings from manic highs to suicidal depression. Around one in fifty people have bipolar, which is more than a million people in the UK. Unsupported, it can increase an individual’s risk of suicide by up to 20 times, and has a huge impact on the friends and families of those with the diagnosis.

Bipolar UK is the national charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by bipolar. Their vision is that everyone affected by bipolar can find the support they need when they need it. Every month they help over 1,000 people to stay well through their integrated services.
