The drop-in blood clinics at Preston and Chorley Hospitals are currently prioritising only clinically urgent tests for patients as a result of reduced staffing. The urgent clinics will be available from Wednesday 11th November between: 8.30am and 12.30pm, Monday to Friday.
You should only attend one of these hospital clinics for a blood test if your doctor or consultant has instructed you that it is urgent and appropriate to do so. Please do not attend if you have not been told to.
If you require a blood test which is not urgent and your doctor or clinician feels you do not need to attend the hospital for this then you should book an appointment at one of the community clinics available across Preston, Chorley or South Ribble.
