Amazing week across Chorley Central PCN this week with over 960 COVID vaccines given to our over 80s.
Thank you to all the staff involved, it has been a massive undertaking and everyone has worked so hard to start to protect our population. Thank you also to our patients, you have been amazing and it has been a very humbling experience.
We were in awe of our eldest patient, at 106yrs young, she walked in to the surgery keen to have her vaccination and tell us a tale or two. We also had a lovely gentleman celebrating his 93rd birthday having his vaccination (see picture below), and lots of other wonderful residents
Don’t worry if you are over 80 and not yet been contacted, you will be in the New Year.
