The Breast Service team at Lancashire Teaching Hospital NHS is working hard to maintain appointment availability, but unfortunately a high number of patients booked in are not attending their appointments.If you receive an appointment with them, we urge you to attend as this is very important for your health and wellbeing.
However, if you are no longer able to attend your appointment, please contact them as soon as possible on 01772 523772 , as they may be able to re-allocate your appointment to someone else who is waiting to be seen.
If you have concerns around Covid-19, please be assured that the clinics are Covid-secure and that they have all of the necessary processes and procedures in place to ensure your safety. These include our socially-distanced waiting room, hand hygiene facilities and appropriate use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
We would like to once again stress the importance of attending your appointment at the Breast Clinic, and ask that you let them know if you cannot attend as soon as you can.
