Ovarian cancer is a disease that can disrupt the normal function of the ovaries. If it’s left unchecked, it can affect other parts of the body too.
Ovarian cancer is the biggest gynaecological killer of women and people with ovaries in the United Kingdom, with UK survival rates among the worst in Europe. Three-quarters of those diagnosed are done so after the cancer has spread, making treatment more difficult.
