Ovarian Cancer Awareness

Ovarian cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in women. The symptoms can be difficult to recognise, as they’re often the same as symptoms of less serious conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS).

Anyone with ovaries can get ovarian cancer, but it mostly affects those over 50. It’s important to be checked by a GP if things don’t feel normal for you, or if any symptoms continue or get worse. For more information, visit https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/ovarian-cancer/
