E-Cigarettes in pregnancy

E-cigarettes are significantly less harmful to your health and the health of your baby than cigarettes. This is because the main harm from smoking is from the toxic chemicals in the tobacco smoke.

The chemicals in e-cigarettes have little research for us to encourage use in #pregnancy, but we do know that there are far less chemicals in and e-cig than a cigarette.

Please Note: Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust remains a smoke-free site. The use on e-cigarettes and tobacco products is prohibited.

Speak to your midwife about stopping smoking and ask for a referral to the team!
Or, you can self-refer by visiting www.quitsquad.nhs.uk or calling 0800 3286297
